Dr Phil Yeung has been a practicing Otolaryngologist - head and neck surgeon since 2005. He looks after a broad range of adult and paediatric ENT problems. Dr Phil Yeung graduated with Honours from the University of Sydney Medical School in 1992. He worked as a General Surgery Registrar at Prince of Wales Hospital and affiliated hospitals. He began ENT training in 1997 at John Hunter Hospital.
Dr Yeung is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Otolaryngology, and a member of the specialty professional body (ASOHNS: Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery). He was accepted into the NSW ENT training scheme commencing College accredited training in 1999, completing his training 2003. This included 6 months paediatric ENT training at Westmead New Children's Hospital, plus an additional 6 months at Sydney Children's Hospital in Randwick.
Dr Yeung went overseas for further operative training, spending 3 months in 2004 with Professor D.S. Sethi at Singapore General Hospital. A further 9 month Otology Operative Fellowship at Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham, UK with Professor G. O’Donoghue followed. During this time he also attended surgical workshops in Singapore, the US and France.
